Dear aviation fans,

The Aeroklub Murska Sobota is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. In this time, the club has trained many glider pilots, airplane pilots, developed parachute and aeromodelling activities, attracted young enthusiasts and passed on many civil and military pilots. We have become established and recognizable in the region, within the Aeronautical Association of Slovenia and with fellow fans of aviation sports.

Aeronautical Association of Slovenia has entrusted us with the organisation of this year's main aviation event in Slovenia on the Day of Slovenian Aviation, which is dedicated to the memory of Edvard Rusjan, the Slovenian aviation pioneer. The airshow »AIR BORNE 07« will be held on our airfield in Rakučan, near Murska Sobota on the 16th and 17th of June. The Programme we have managed to prepare will not leave noone indifferent. You will get the chance to see the latest military aircraft, historical planes from the time of Edvard Rusjan, from I. and II. world war, gliders, general category airplanes, top aerobatic pilots and other civil aircraft.

We wish to particulary emphasise that for the first time in Slovenia's history, we have been able to ensure displays of three military display teams. These are Patrulla Aguila from Spain, Krila Oluje from Croatia and Zvezde from Serbia.
